We are urgently raising $45,000 to protect 10 Village Forests and surrounding communities from devastating wildfires. Fires have already entered one Village Forest, destroying 20 hectares of critical orangutan habitat, while additional fires are threatening more forests across the landscape. At the same time, hazardous smoke is putting local communities at risk, forcing some families to temporarily relocate while firefighting efforts continue.
